Day 48 - Cult Logic

There really is something to this Valley theory. Last week I gave in to the party surrounds of the wedding and this weekend; visitors, a birthday and the blazing sunshine contrived to penetrate my resolve.  I paid the price, especially today as I had to stop during the one-arm biceps as I was very close to vomiting. I was sweating buckets and felt really nauseous for a short time, a combination of hard work at the exercises and my poor food and drink choices over the weekend I feel.
I guess being devout for a month is easy enough, but to continue for the longer term really shows you what you're made of. It would appear I am lacking in the steadfastness department; this is not a weakness, but an area for development!
I like the recent homework project - a good exercise to refocus the mind and remind of us of the logic behind these newly practiced good habits.  We must be able to quote the central text if we are to spead the good news.
Here's an aptly titled song that I often listen to when grimacing, sweating and groaning.  I have also been known to listen to it at the gym.

  1. But it shows what you are made of if you fall off the wagon and get back on rather than just giving up all together.
