Day 21 - Frozen

Froze my gym membership last night, it's due to thaw in early September.  I won't cancel it because they have a few classes that I enjoy, especially during the Canadian winter. Good to save a little ca$h though.

1000 skips before breakfast; it’s boring, but it’s part of my life.
Tripped at 246 and then again at 668. It was quick-fire today, didn’t even throw in any crossovers until we were in the 900s, just wanted it over with so I could get onto my hamstring stretches.
Saturday’s triathlon is looming larger by the hour and my belief that I can patch up my hamstring enough to survive the event changes by the hour.  Yesterday I was in pain all afternoon, post laser and electro-acupuncture treatment, and was convinced there was no chance I could participate. However, this morning I had to trot for the bus and my stride is getting longer and longer!  Today’s physio appointment has not resulted in the pain of yesterday, and I’m going for a swim shortly to really test the water!

Some slight dietary changes for the week ahead and the exercise keeps ramping up and up.  There’s nothing else for it but to dive in with both feet.  PCP is like an ATM, you get out what you put in.

  1. Loved your comment yesterday and also today. I am stunned by your skipping abilities. I totally agree. Baby steps, but oh so ever consistent. I actually like the fact now that Patrick only tells us a little as we go. It would be total overload if we got it all at once and I don't think any of us would do it. I like that thought... we've been PCP'd
