Day 81 - Some days are better than others

On Friday, I broke up my cardio and strength work for the first time in a while; ran the 6kms into the office in the morning and then did workout at 6pm.  I didn't like it.
The run was fine, a nice sunny morning and a welcome change from the bike, but in the evening I could not focus at all.  My thoughts were all over the place and I could barely even count my reps and sets properly.  Could just be one of those days but I wont be repeating these timings for workouts going forward.

On the other hand, I felt really clear-minded during today's workout.  I waited all day to do it; watching football matches on tv in the early morning then spent the day cleaning and other household type chores.  Took time out to watch a film with my wife at 4pm and then hit the workout.  It was great, I tripped a bit during the first skipping set, after that found my comfortably numb state (must be the morphine!) and threw in some elevated push-ups in between the sets.
Worked myself to failure throughout and feel really good now.

Taking my wife out for dinner just now, plan to have some fish and salad, but may eat some bread as I will need the carbs for a special appointment at 10:30am tmw...
